Although Broadcast Text International now operates internationally, with offices in Amsterdam, Budapest, Brussels, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Helsinki, London, Oslo and Stockholm, the company had humble beginnings.
Broadcast Text International was founded in Sweden in 1995 by Björn Lifvergren, who remains CEO of the company to this day. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the largest subtitling companies in Europe however what makes it unique is that it hasn’t forgotten its roots. BTI still has the same values now as it did at the beginning – the employees want to produce high-quality work while keeping the production process streamlined and efficient.
